"Celebrate All Victories" is Atiai's creeds when working with individuals on the spectrum.
The Puzzled Pathway is a not-for-profit organization that is geared toward Special Education Professionals, who have students/clients with Autism and other related special needs. It is our passion to be a relevant resource to Special Education professionals by providing self-care needs and orgaizing resource fairs.
Atiai and her nephew Eric.
Her passion stems from her nephew that is severely brain damaged, due to a head trauma at birth. Even though her nephew had a head trauma, he was diagnosed with Autism as well. Atiai volunteered at his school and worked in the home with him every day, and that is where her passion began for those with special needs. While working with her nephew, she noticed how hard his mother had to fight for particular resources and the difficulty accessing more knowledge about her child. Once Atiai began to work in the field as a professional, she noticed this same problem with other parents and Special Needs educators. It was then, Atiai developed her new passion, thus creating the Puzzled Pathway.
